Really good sized room, comfortable bed, great shower. The hotel was not too big (only 7 floors)and was not commercial. Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am so it was possible to have an early breakfast and get on with my day. Breakfast was a selection of cereals and toast, tea and coffee - no juice, fruit, yoghurt or cooked options - and was self service, although I liked that you didn't have to wait. You could get tea, coffee and water all day (no tea-making facilities in the rooms) and there was also a handy vending machine to get soft drinks and chocolate. The room had a safe, a fridge, and air con (which was much needed!). Lots of towels provided (I counted 8!), and the shampoo, conditioner, soap and moisturiser provided were really nice, and topped up throughout the stay. Brilliant location for downtown attractions, access to the Greenway, several subway stations very close by - a subway journey up to mid town on the express took no more than 30 minutes, and the local train to mid-Central Park West side did not take much longer. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby, either as a sit down meal or for somewhere just to grab something to take away (the wraps at Garden City Deli were amazing!). The street at the back of the hotel (outside Ulysses) got busy and lively at night - I was on the 3rd floor, overlooking Ulysses, and did not find the noise to be intrusive - it was good to hear people out, having fun. Not luxury, but a really good base with all the comforts needed and away from the crowds of mid-town. All the staff I saw and spoke to were friendly and pleasant and reception ordered me a taxi to the airport when I checked out.

The bedrooms were large and had two queen beds with a desk inbetween and TV console which housed a mini fridge and drawers. It is an old building which is what I liked and we were on the 5th floor, room 503 and my brother in law and nephew were in 506, their room was very similar to ours in size. There was not much of a view as the building had scaffolding round it but that didn't bother us as we spent most of the time out and about. The staff were great, very helpful with regards to booking transport and any other questions. The breakfast was fairly good considering it is free, there were individually wrapped croissants and pain au chocolate, bread, yogurts, cereal and make your own waffles. The hotel is close to lots of bars and we found a loveli Deli and newly opened small supermarket selling hot and cold food round the corner. I also needed cold sore cream and a pharamcy was just round the block although I would advise taking your own cold sore cream as the prices were extortionate! The 9/11 memorial and Occulus were a 10 minte walk and the Governers Island Ferry terminal was 5 mins away. We were very pleased with the hotel and I would stay there again if I go back to New York. The beds were very comfy, I normally don't sleep very well as I have problems with my neck but the cushions were lovely and squishy and different sizes and the mattress was nice and firm with no sagging which happens a lot in hotels. The cleaning staff were also very nice and helpful especially when I had trouble with my room card, one of them called the desk to tell them to get me a new one.

The hotel was clean, incredibly comfortable in terms of room size and bed (huge, and VERY comfortable) perfectly located and all round good customer service. I didn't have breakfast, but it was available. I did take up the all day coffee station, which was much appreciated. I also valued housekeeping actially did turn down the beds, change towels etc etc, which can be patchy in hotels nowadays - many give the excuse of the pandemic, not the case in this hotel. Aircon worked perfectly. Everything was well laid out, cleaned and prepared for guests. The decor suited me too - I prefer traditional hotels rather than new/contemporary. The history of the hotel and the area it sits in adds to its character. The area is very safe, I didnt once feel unsafe walking alone by myself around the area. There are restaurants and other eateries just steps away from the hotel, Wall Street too, perfect location to all local amenities, and none of the noise - I stayed on the 2nd floor for 6 nights and not once did I hear sirens etc as you often have with hotels in mid/upper Manhattan. I wanted peace, relaxation and calm, and thats exactly what I had from staying at the Wall Street Inn. Thank you to all.

This hotel is ideally located for Battery Park to get on the Liberty Island/Ellis Island ferry, also the Staten Island and Governor's Island ferries. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and takeaways nearby. The rooms are very comfortable and you have everything you need. There is coffee and tea available in the breakfast room all day and the breakfast, although basic, is perfectly adequate. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back. Hopefully next time we come the roof terrace will be accessible.

From the time I entered the hotel I felt welcomed. The ability to drop off your bag until check in helps as you can do other things until check in time. The check in process was easy. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. It is located near to eating places and subways. The wi-fi was good for what I needed it for which was to keep in touch with my family. The hotel was clean in general and housekeeping was very efficient.
